Remember us in your Will
We have a vision of a vast network of rewilded land and water across Scotland, where wildlife flourishes and people thrive.
You can help this vision become reality by remembering SCOTLAND: The Big Picture in your Will.
Hello! I’m Sarah Sall, your main contact for Gifts in Wills.
There is a growing scientific consensus that the next 30 years will be decisive for nature, climate and people. Within this frighteningly narrow window, there exists an opportunity to stitch back together an intricate tapestry of life, where nature in all its complexity, is reawakened. It’s called rewilding.
We drive support for rewilding, commit more land and water to rewilding, and work to return missing species to our ecosystems. Your support, and that of others like you, is vital in making more rewilding happen.
By remembering SCOTLAND: The Big Picture in your Will, you can help restore the living systems on which we all depend.
If you'd like to find out more, read Mariam's story to discover what inspired her to leave a gift in her Will, or contact me to talk about leaving a legacy. I'm very happy to call you back if you would prefer to speak over the phone.
The difference your gift will make...
You will help us drive more support for rewilding
Have you seen our award-winning Riverwoods documentary? It's a spectacular and compelling story of Scotland's Atlantic salmon and their relationship with our woodland ecosystems. Riverwoods has played to thousands of people and is just one example of our advocacy work informing and inspiring positive change.
The generosity of people like you made this happen.
You will commit more land and water to rewilding
Our Northwoods Rewilding Network is a Scotland-wide chain of landholdings committed to nature recovery. Its partners share a vision for an ecologically-restored landscape, where habitats are better connected and species can recover, expand and disperse. As Northwoods grows in reach and influence, more carbon will be locked away and more people will benefit from nature-rich landscapes.
The generosity of people like you made this happen.
You will help return missing species to our ecosystems
Over time, Scotland has lost more species than almost any other country. We want to return lynx and wild boar to our forests, salmon and freshwater pearl mussels to our rivers, and beavers and cranes to our wetlands. These species will enliven our ecosystems and enrich our souls.
The generosity of people like you can make this happen.
We understand that your Will is a very personal matter…
- That’s why we will never ask you for information about your gift, unless you want to talk to us about it.
- We understand that those closest to you will always come first.
- We respect that this is your decision alone and we will never put any pressure on you.
- We will ensure that your gift is used in accordance with your wishes within the scope of our vision.
If you do choose to remember us in your Will and feel happy about letting us know, please do get in touch so we can thank you personally and keep you up to date with our news and events.
