More nature-based products and markets established to enable rewilding to be an economically viable land use choice that supports prosperous communities.
What are we doing to drive this change?
We recognise that in many situations, ecological recovery is only possible when it works in tandem with, and benefits, communities. We develop nature-based business models that reward rewilding and contribute to local economies.
We share and showcase the stories of those who have already found ways to make rewilding financially sustainable, and develop new narratives around the value of rewilding in an emerging wellbeing economy.
We build relationships with businesses to promote investment in the recovery of Scotland’s land and seas, so that they lock away carbon, return wildlife to our landscapes and allow our communities to prosper.
